At PwC’s Transformation Design & Delivery (TDD) practice, we work alongside clients to design and deliver complex transformation programmes across strategy, process, technology, and change. We are growing our team in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland and are looking for experienced Managers who want to play a leading role in shaping and delivering complex transformation outcomes for our clients. Make a substantial impact in the following areas: Structure complex problems into clear, actionable plans, providing direction to teams and delivering high-quality outcomes that drive real client impact Build trusted client relationships, working with senior stakeholders to understand challenges, shape solutions, influence decisions, and deliver results Lead workstreams across complex transformation programmes, taking accountability for delivery from planning through to execution Lead and develop project teams, providing clear direction, coaching team members, and creating a collaborative and high-performing environment Plan and manage delivery effectively, including work planning, resource coordination, dependencies, and adapting delivery approaches as priorities evolve Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, making sound judgements and escalating appropriately to maintain delivery momentum Manage the commercial and financial aspects of your work, including resource planning, cost estimation, budget tracking, and supporting effective engagement management Communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful insights, recommendations, and transparent reporting on delivery Work across vendors, client teams, and other delivery partners, navigating complexity and aligning diverse groups toward common outcomes Lead and support implementation and service transition activities, ensuring solutions are embedded effectively and sustainably Contribute to the development of our TDD practice, including our tools, frameworks, methodologies, propositions, and ways of working Support the growth of our people through coaching, feedback, and development, while leveraging PwC’s broader network to continue developing your own leadership and transformation capability Significant experience delivering transformation, change, project, or programme-based work (typically 5–8 years ), including experience leading workstreams or teams in complex delivery environments Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience building trusted relationships with senior and executive stakeholders Demonstrated ability to lead delivery, providing structure and direction while managing competing priorities, dependencies, risks, and issues Experience working in structured delivery environments and applying recognised methodologies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, PMI/PMBOK) pragmatically to suit the context Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams, navigating complexity, resolving challenges, and aligning diverse groups toward common outcomes Strong commercial awareness, with experience contributing to or managing project budgets, resource plans, estimates, and engagement performance Clear and confident communication skills, able to distil complex information, provide meaningful recommendations, and influence decision-making Strong people leadership and coaching capability, with experience supporting the performance and development of others A proactive and adaptable leadership style, comfortable operating with ambiguity, exercising judgement, and taking accountability for delivery outcomes Rewards - Discretionary bonus opportunities; generous referral bonuses; retail discounts & deals Growth - Global network; leadership development; A.I. tools and training; formal learning pathways Wellbeing - $250 annual wellbeing allowance; Life & income protection; Sonder/EAP/Headspace; 15 days’ paid sick leave; group-rate health insurance (eligibility applies) Reputation - PwC is known for shaping tomorrow.
