Webb’s is seeking an experienced and practical People & Culture Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting leaders and employees across the business. This is a true generalist onsite position, offering variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the leadership team, you will work closely with managers to provide expert people advice, lead recruitment activities, manage employee relations processes, process payroll, HR administrations processes, champion employee engagement initiatives, and drive workplace health and safety. About the Role: Employee Relations & Leadership support: Partner with leaders to provide trusted advice and support across employee relations, performance management, and workplace matters. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment while partnering with managers to attract, select, and onboard great talent. Employee Lifecyle: Oversee the employee journey from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a positive and seamless employee experience. HR Systems & Payroll: Manage the full end-to-end payroll function and HR systems administration, ensuring accurate employee records, reporting, compliance, and timely payroll processing. Employee Engagement & Culture: Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and a positive workplace culture aligned with our values. Policy & Continuous Improvement: Review and enhance HR policies, processes, and systems to drive compliance and continuous improvement. Health & Safety: Lead the Health & Safety for the business, promoting a safe workplace and ensuring legislative compliance. Compliance & Best Practice: Provide expert guidance on employment legislation and HR best practice to minimise risk and support organisational success. About you: To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience in a broad HR Generalist or People & Culture role. Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practice. Proven experience supporting employee relations matters and coaching leaders. Experience managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes. Confidence working with HRIS and payroll systems. Sound Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Word and Excel. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline will be advantageous. Health & Safety knowledge. Financial acumen and strong attention to details.
