Financial Adviser - Life & Health Insurance Infinity Loans and Insurances – Manukau City, North Island Infinity Loans and Insurances is seeking a talented Financial Adviser - Life & Health Insurance to join our growing team in Auckland. As a Financial Adviser specialising in life and health insurance, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their insurance needs and protect their financial futures. You will work directly with clients to assess their requirements, recommend appropriate insurance solutions, and provide ongoing support throughout their insurance journey. About the role Infinity Loans and Insurances is seeking a talented Financial Adviser - Life & Health Insurance to join our growing team in Auckland. This is a contract position offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the insurance brokerage sector. As a Financial Adviser specialising in life and health insurance, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their insurance needs and protect their financial futures. You will work directly with clients to assess their requirements, recommend appropriate insurance solutions, and provide ongoing support throughout their insurance journey. Key Responsibilities – Insurance Broker Assess clients’ insurance needs and provide tailored advice based on their personal or business circumstances. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders. Research and compare insurance products, premiums, policy terms, exclusions, and benefits from multiple insurers. Prepare and present insurance recommendations and quotes that align with clients’ needs and budgets. Explain complex insurance policies in clear, easy-to-understand language and help clients make informed decisions. Manage the end-to-end policy process, including applications, renewals, amendments, cancellations, and documentation. Liaise with insurers and underwriters to negotiate terms, premiums, coverage, and policy conditions on behalf of clients. Assist clients with claims, including communicating with insurers and supporting clients throughout the claims process. Proactively identify gaps in clients’ existing insurance coverage and recommend appropriate solutions. Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation and compliance requirements are met. Generate new business through referrals, networking, lead follow-up, and relationship building. What we're looking for Relevant financial advice qualification & life and health insurance industry experience. Strong understanding of life insurance, health insurance, income protection and other related products Proven experience in client relationship management and sales within a financial services or insurance environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in clear, accessible language Strong organisational and administrative capabilities, with attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in using insurance software systems and Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of relevant financial services legislation, including the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 and Insurance Law Reform Act 2977 Professional demeanour with strong ethical values and commitment to putting clients' interests first Preferred: existing client base or networking connections within Auckland that could support business development What we offer Infinity Loans and Insurances is committed to supporting the professional growth and wellbeing of our team members.
