We are seeking a dedicated and detail orientated English LanguageTeacher to join us on a permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week) basis based in Botany. As an EnglishLanguage Teacher , you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the languageskills of domestic students, both in a traditional classroom setting andthrough online instruction. You’ll be instrumental in delivering innovativeteaching methods, to empower our tauira to excel in their English languageproficiency. This role entails the planning, delivery, assessment, andreporting of results. Theideal candidate will be a self-driven individual with a social disposition.They will exhibit strong teamwork capabilities within an academic environmentand will actively engage in providing pastoral care and social support to ourtauira. Thisrole is primarily located at Botany campus, but the ability to work flexibly across our various sitesin the Auckland region, as necessary, including providing relief teaching isconsidered advantageous. Aboutyou We arelooking for someone who has the following: The minimum requirementis an internationally recognised teaching qualification, such as CELTA,Trinity Certificate in TESOL or equivalent. Experienceteaching NZCEL programmes and/or Business English qualifications would bedesirable. Eithercurrently hold or be in the process of obtaining the National Certificatein Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (NCALNE). Atleast two years teaching in an ESOL environment is preferred. Proficiencyin the use of Microsoft suite, in particular, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiaritywith the internet and email usage is essential. As akaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture andtikanga) is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
