Join an established Auckland data centre and help keep mission-critical infrastructure operating 24/7. This hands-on role is ideal for engineers from 24/7 operational environments who enjoy troubleshooting, working with large industrial plant and solving technical problems. You'll receive comprehensive training and gain exposure to electrical, mechanical and building services systems within a fast-growing industry. Key responsibilities Operate and maintain HVAC, cooling, power and building systems Monitor BMS/EPMS and respond to alarms and faults Troubleshoot equipment and support incident response Coordinate contractors and maintain engineering records Help ensure the facility operates safely and reliably 24/7 About the role Join an established Auckland data centre and help keep mission-critical infrastructure operating 24/7. We're keen to hear from Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Facilities Engineers, Maintenance Engineers, Building Services Engineers, HVAC/Refrigeration Engineers, or engineers from manufacturing, hospitals, power generation, utilities, marine or other critical infrastructure sectors. You'll also bring: Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills (EST registration advantageous) A commitment to safe work practices Ability to work a rotating 12-hour day/night roster with paid on-call NZ Citizenship preferred due to site security requirements Benefits Rotating roster with excellent work/life balance Up to 10 consecutive days off every roster cycle Paid on-call plus overtime at time-and-a-half Plus competitive benefits package 4 weeks' annual leave on top of rostered time off, KiwiSaver and ongoing technical development About the company Our client is an established Auckland data centre operator delivering secure, mission-critical infrastructure across NZ.
