Part Time Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist This is a Part Time Hygienist position at Dental on Mahoe in Te Awamutu, with a full-time six-week leave cover opportunity from mid-November to the end of December. You will work alongside experienced clinicians and a friendly team committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will treat a loyal, well-established patient base using modern technology in a welcoming practice. Key responsibilities Improve the oral health and lives of patients Build long-term relationships with an established patient base while welcoming new patients Provide gentle, compassionate care and create a calm, reassuring experience, particularly for anxious patients Educate and empower patients through outstanding communication skills About you A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene A current Annual Practising Certificate with the Dental Council of New Zealand NZ residency or a valid New Zealand work visa Passionate about improving the oral health and lives of both adults and children Enjoys building long-term relationships with an established patient base while welcoming new patients Thrives in a supportive, collaborative team environment Has outstanding communication skills and enjoys educating and empowering patients Provides gentle, compassionate care and creates a calm, reassuring experience, particularly for anxious patients About us At Dental on Mahoe, we believe in creating confident smiles while fostering a positive workplace where our team feels valued and supported.
