Global Personnel Ltd – Silverdale, North Island Our client is a medium sized steel fabrication and erection company based in North Auckland. They are looking to employ an experienced steel erection site supervisor to oversee the work on sites throughout Auckland. The type of jobs you will be working on are small to medium warehouses, large homes and the like. You will move from job site to job, as each job is completed. You will also lead a small team. So, experience as a team leader is required. You need to be experienced in rigging and erecting of steel structures and plan reading. You will also need to be able to undertake site set ups, like using dumpy levels. You will also lead a small team. This is a hands‑on role so you will also work with the team. Your tasks will primarily include: Site set up. Efficiently organise work. Guide your team to position, align and install steel structures, working at height using approved safety systems and elevated work platforms. Support site logistics including loading and unloading materials, while maintaining rigging equipment and adhering to all health and safety procedures. You must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Site welding skills is an advantage however not essential. This is a permanent role with a very successful, long standing steel fabrication and erection company. There is one position. The role has an hourly rate plus use of vehicle.
