At SGS New Zealand, we're looking for an experienced Ultrasonic Welds Level 2 NDT Inspector ( ISO 9712 / PCN / AINDT ) to join our team based in Taupō . As a trusted expert in Non-Destructive Testing, you will play a key role in helping our clients maintain the safety, reliability, and integrity of their assets across a wide range of industries. About the Role This is a full-time position working with clients across a variety of sectors. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality NDT inspections while building strong client relationships and maintaining SGS's reputation for technical excellence. Key Responsibilities Perform and lead a range of non-destructive testing activities, including: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) Interpret inspection results and prepare detailed technical reports Ensure compliance with relevant standards, procedures, and regulations Work closely with clients to understand inspection requirements and provide practical solutions Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation Promote a strong health, safety, and quality culture Continue developing technical knowledge and skills in emerging NDT technologies About You To be successful in this role, you will have: AINDT or PCN Level 2 certifications in UT2 Welds, MT2, PT2 (essential) A minimum of 5 years' practical NDT experience operating at UT Level 2 Strong customer service and client relationship skills A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites throughout New Zealand Good computer and technology skills Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable ISO 9712 Phased Array certification Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) qualification What We Offer Structured training and ongoing professional development Ongoing training and development, including support to maintain and expand ISO 9712 certifications The opportunity to work for a global leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification A diverse and challenging workload across multiple industries The lifestyle benefits of living and working in beautiful Taupō To learn more about SGS, visit www.sgs.com . #J-18808-Ljbffr
