Warehouse Assistant

This is a hands-on warehouse role involving picking, packing and dispatching customer orders. However, strong computer skills are essential. Every day you'll use our warehouse and accounting systems to process orders, manage inventory, print courier labels and maintain accurate stock records. Key responsibilities Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently Receive, check and put away incoming stock Process orders and stock movements using our warehouse and accounting systems Print courier labels and shipping documentation Record serial numbers and maintain accurate inventory records Assist with stocktakes and inventory control Operate a forklift (or be willing to obtain certification) Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse About you Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment Strong computer skills and confidence learning new software Experience using warehouse management, inventory or dispatch systems Excellent attention to detail and accuracy A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual lifting throughout the day About us Westan New Zealand is a leading distributor of premium audio visual, networking, and consumer technology solutions.
