After-school Nanny - German speaker essential (Deutschsprachig)

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey. We're looking for a warm, energetic person to be an after-school companion for our two daughters. This isn't a formal childcare role - it's about being genuinely present, having fun, and making the hours between school and dinner feel good. Alexa and Marla are polite, fun, and good company - they'll greet you at the door and probably make you laugh (must be their Kiwi side ). WHAT YOU'LL DO Hang out & have fun - auf Deutsch - The heart of the role. Play games, watch something, go for a walk - be genuinely engaged with the girls. All interaction is ideally in German. After-school snacks - Prepare something simple and tasty when they get home - nothing elaborate (they love smoothies / sandwiches / fruit etc) just good food at the right moment. Homework support - Help when it's needed - a calm, encouraging presence to sit alongside them. Occasional activity & sports runs - Drop-offs and pick-ups from after-school activities as needed. A valid driver's licence is required. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR Native or near-native German speaker - comfortable and natural Genuinely good with kids - not just patient, but someone who actually enjoys their company Reliable and consistent - routine matters, and we need someone who shows up Active and outdoorsy a plus - the girls are energetic and love being active REQUIREMENTS Native or near-native German fluency Current NZ driver's licence, preferred not essential Two references (personal or professional) First aid certificate preferred, not essential #J-18808-Ljbffr
