Yard Operations Manager

Hours & Rate $85k - $95k Monday to Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Every second Saturday: 6:00 am – 12:00 pm What You'll Be Doing Review and make recommendations to continuously improve H&S processes, delivering staff inductions and training Maintain a high level of customer service skills Leading daily yard operations, including loading, unloading, and processing scrap metal Managing and supporting your team of supervisors, operators and yardman Overseeing rostering, task allocation, and day-to-day workflow Acting as the key contact between yard operations and senior management What We're Looking For Experience in a supervisory or management role within Civil, Scrap metal, Timber, Recycling, Manufacturing, or similar Strong people leadership with the ability to manage teams and hold people accountable A genuine commitment to Health & Safety and safe work practices Full NZ Driver's Licence (essential) — forklift licence and/or digger experience an advantage A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with great communication skills Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing required Good work references required Why Apply?
