The Role We are looking for a passionate Fine Arts Retail Assistant to join our team. You will be the go-to expert in our Fine Arts department, guiding customers through our massive range of premium art supplies. Career Growth For candidates with strong leadership experience, a Department Lead role is available for consideration. Key Responsibilities Customer Advisory: Provide expert, knowledgeable advice to customers on fine art mediums, techniques, and product choices. Sales & Service: Deliver friendly customer service, process transactions accurately and proactively suggest companion products. Merchandising: Maintain visually stunning displays, ensure shelves stay stocked and keep the fine arts floor organized. Inventory Control: Assist with inventory management, stock intake and occasional merchandising tasks. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to keep daily retail operations running smoothly. Skills & Experience Deep Art Knowledge: Genuine expertise in fine art mediums (paints, sketching, canvas, mediums, etc.). Retail Experience: Prior experience in retail sales or customer-facing environments is highly valued. Customer Focus: A natural love for helping people and building relationships with our loyal customer community.
