Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey. Lead the Course Experience As a Course Captain, you are the operational and energetic anchor on the ground during builds, live event days, and pack-downs. You aren't here to stand around or watch from afar, you drive zone execution, pitch in with site setup and pack-down, mentor local volunteers, and ensure every family has an unforgettable experience. How You’ll Bring the 6 Es to Life on Tour: Experience Keep your course zone running seamlessly, ensuring smooth queue flow, clear directions, and high-impact participant moments. Energy Bring positive, alert energy that keeps volunteers motivated during active setups and long event days. Engagement Stay active on the field, supporting volunteers, helping participants, and stepping into key operational moments. Encouragement Coach volunteers to celebrate effort, boost participant confidence, and keep the vibe uplifting. Education Deliver clear briefings, safety instructions, and hands-on guidance to local event volunteers. Enforcement Champion Health & Safety and risk protocols with calm, mature discipline across your zone. What the Role Involves: Site Setup & Pack-Down: Getting hands-on with zone layout, obstacle inflation/anchoring, and pack-down before and after live event days. Zone Management: Directing obstacle setups, monitoring physical safety zones, and maintaining equipment standards on site. Volunteer Mentorship: Supporting, briefing, and guiding regional volunteers throughout event shifts. Live Event Execution: Managing participant flow, responding to site needs, and maintaining high energy throughout the course. Safety & Hazard Oversight: Monitoring environmental conditions, enforcing safety guidelines, and assisting with incident reports. You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Have: Experience in live events, outdoor recreation, sports venue operations, or physical logistics. Physical grit, stamina, and a "get stuck in" attitude for long outdoor setups, live event days, and pack-downs. Full availability for national travel during the tour (approx. October through April) and comfort living in shared team accommodation. Full NZ Driver Licence (preferred). Current First Aid Certificate (preferred). Touring Reality & Rostering High-Energy Event Days: Live event days are fast-paced, hands-on, and full-on. You'll be outdoors, active, and on your feet. Flexible Rest Days: We aim to give you two consecutive days off each week, but touring logistics and event dates mean rest days can vary, sometimes shifting to split or half-days off depending on the schedule. Paid Travel: You get paid for travel time! When we’re moving between cities, you’re on the clock to sit back, relax, and take in the views on the Ninja Run bus. Why Join The Ninja Run Tour? Travel New Zealand: Extensive national travel during the event season with all tour accommodation and travel covered per company policy. Impactful Leadership: Directly lead community volunteers in a high-energy environment. Purpose-Driven Culture: Join a team guided by authentic values and a mission to help communities come alive through movement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
