CNC Machine Operator

About the role: Starting wage of $30.00 to $32.00 per hour Permanent contract. Minimum guranteed 30 hours per week. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC router machines safely and efficiently. Load and unload materials and finished components. Select, install, and change cutting tools, router bits and other tooling as required. Enter, load, or adjust CNC programs and machine parameters in accordance with job specifications. Set machine datum points, offsets, tool lengths and cutting parameters. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain accuracy, quality and productivity. Identify and respond to machine alarms, faults, tooling issues or production problems. Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, CAD files, cutting lists and job specifications. Measure and mark materials where required before machining. Cut, drill, route, shape and machine components to specified dimensions and tolerances. Optimise material usage and nesting to minimise waste where applicable. Complete production work within required timeframes while maintaining quality standards. Assist with other manufacturing and production duties as required. Why join All Trades?
