What We're Looking For NZQA Level 4 Trade Qualification (Automotive, Heavy Diesel, or similar) Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience servicing and repairing forklifts or similar machinery Strong diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Professional communication skills – able to converse confidently and clearly with customers A proactive attitude toward learning, safety, and teamwork What You'll Be Doing Maintain, service, and repair forklifts and other materials-handling equipment for customers across Hawke's Bay Carry out breakdown repairs both in the workshop and on-site (field service) – some travel required Conduct pre-delivery inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance Complete all job cards and service records accurately and on time Communicate effectively with customers about work completed and any follow-up needs Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with the latest systems and equipment What's In It for You Full-time, permanent role – minimum 40 hours per week $36 – $38 per hour, depending on experience Company vehicle provided for business use Overtime available, plus on-call allowance every 3 weeks Access to modern diagnostic tools, OEM training, and quality service equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr
