Napier Port, located in Napier, Hawke’s Bay, is New Zealand’s fourth-largest port, providing a range of marine, handling, and logistical services. Our Warehousing Operations Team plays a vital role in maintaining operational excellence. Multiple opportunities - We have an opportunity for Forklift Drivers to join the Warehousing team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor Warehousing, day-to-day, you’ll be busy working on: Safely operating forklifts and other materials‑handling equipment within the port and warehousing environment Loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of cargo, and palletised freight Supporting truck operations to ensure efficient cargo flow Completing pre‑start checks and basic equipment care, reporting faults promptly Accurately recording movements and completing required documentation and system entries Working collaboratively with, logistics, and warehousing teams to meet operational deadlines Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping at all times. To be successful in this role you will need: A great attitude A full Class 1 drivers’ licence with F endorsement Current OSH certificate A class 5 driver licence would be advantageous The ability to work day and afternoon shifts (07:00-15:30, and 15:30-24:00), including public holidays and some weekends.
