Registered Nurse - Special Care Baby Unit Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Hutt Valley – Lower Hutt, North Island Contract: Permanent, Part Time 0.9 FTE Rostered and Rotating. About the Role Registered Nurse role in Special Care Baby Unit at Hutt Hospital. Permanent, part-time position available 0.9 FTE, working 72 hours per fortnight, rostered and rotating shifts. We are looking for nurses who have a passion for working with infants and their whanau. About the Team/Service/Location Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Hutt Hospital provides care for preterm and sick infants from 32 weeks' gestation with a strong focus on family-centred care and timely, supportive discharge planning. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team and work in partnership with infants and their families, supporting them throughout their hospital journey. SCBU is a busy Unit with quality driven, patient focused environment and dynamic and supportive team. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach to provide best outcomes for our patients. About you To be successful, you must have: Current NCNZ Registered Nurse Annual Practicing Certificate Neonatal Experience and resilience to work in a busy environment Are team focused and have positive attitude Have excellent time management and communication skills Have a genuine passion for working with babies and families.
