Band C Police Employee Permanent – Full Time Locally advertised vacancy JR 5988456 Mō te tūnga | About the role This administration role will see you supporting our New Zealand Police team, as well as a wider group of team members from government agencies and local community providers all working together to ensure whanau experiencing family harm get the assistance they need. This effective response model sees partners working in a timely and co-ordinated manner so that whānau experience intervention that is appropriate, co-ordinated, timely and connected. In Counties Manukau the Whangaia Nga Pa Harakeke model is supported thorough daily multi-agency safety assessment tables. T he administration team is pivotal to the daily operation of our work . The successful applicant for this role will manage and support daily operations across the workgroups where required, with a focus on supporting the administration preparation of the safety assessment table. Key Accountabilities: Demonstrate confidence and high levels of competence with computer systems. Provide administrative support to a busy team where fluid adaptability to changing priorities throughout your day is required. Manage high volumes of data entry, including working with sensitive information. To be successful in this role the Whāngaia Ngā Pā Harakeke Administrator will: Effectively communicate with our people and partners in group or individual situations. Be able to work meaningfully with both the internal team and external agencies. Know our contribution to achieving our targets. Know the impact of unconscious bias and how to manage our own biases. Know and understand the diverse cultures within our communities. Have excellent computer skills and demonstrate confidence and competence with new computer systems. This role works from Monday to Friday 6am-2pm, with one weekend every 4 weeks. The successful candidate must be located within the tāmaki makaurau area. This role is Individual Contributor/Emerging Leader level.
