Job Description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey. Moodi is one of Australasia’s largest and fastest-growing wellness brands. We create mental wellness supplements that pair science-backed ingredients with delicious flavours to support gut health, stress, sleep, and more. Since launching in 2022, we’ve become a large e-commerce business with 220,000+ online customers. We are also the #1 wellness drinks brand and have one of the fastest-selling protein snacks in NZ supermarkets. Our growth has been fuelled by a combination of marketing innovation and operational excellence across multiple product ranges, channels and geographies. Moodi is powered by a lean, high-performing team with big ambitions. If you’re looking to join a rapidly scaling, purpose-driven brand (and you’re not afraid of hard work!) read on and apply. The Graphic Designer at Moodi owns the design of what our customers see, across packaging, retail, advertising, email and web. You'll work directly with our Co-Founder and the wider marketing team, picking up execution across Moodi's full spectrum of design output. This is a broad, hands-on role. In a single week you might design packaging for a new flavour, build a set of static ads, design an EDM, mock up a retail display unit and build an AI creative workflow. We're looking for a designer who has already made AI a core part of how they work. This role needs to scale output while lifting quality and holding brand consistency across every touchpoint. The ideal candidate brings a strong portfolio across digital design, brand systems and illustrative work, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and wants to work cross-functionally across multiple domains. What you’ll do Brand Design Brand collateral: Design Moodi's physical brand collateral, including packing materials, mailer boxes, and PR boxes. Retail assets: Design retail display units and in-store brand assets that hold shelf standout and brand consistency. Event and sampling assets: Design collateral for sampling, activations and events as required. OOH design: Design out of home advertising, including billboards, street furniture and other placements, ensuring campaign consistency. Brand consistency: Uphold Moodi's visual identity across every physical and digital touchpoint, maintaining consistency in typography, colour, layout and imagery. Packaging Design Packaging iteration: Update existing packaging as products, variants, geographies and requirements change. New concepts and systems: Develop new packaging elements, concepts and design systems for new products and ranges, working closely with the Co-Founder. Performance Creative Static ad design: Design static ads for Meta and emerging channels, optimised for performance on each platform. Concept development: Develop ad concepts independently, working closely with the Creative Strategist and building on performance insights. Volume and iteration: Produce creative at the volume and velocity paid channels require, in line with creative targets, using AI workflows to iterate on proven winners and test new concepts. Lifecycle & Email Design EDM design: Own the design of Moodi's branded email campaigns and lifecycle flows end to end. Template systems: Build and maintain reusable email templates and modules that speed up production and hold brand consistency. Website Design Modules and pages: Design sections and modules for the website and landing pages, working closely with Ecommerce. Image production: Turn shoot output, 3D renders and AI-generated imagery into web-ready assets across PDPs, collection pages and campaign pages. Imagery for testing: Produce imagery variants to support on-site A/B testing. AI Creative Production AI asset generation: Produce AI photography and AI-generated assets for digital use across ads, email, website and social. Workflow integration: Use AI as a core part of the design workflow to scale output while lifting quality, and improve those workflows as tools change. Tool adoption: Actively test new tools and techniques, and bring what works into how the team operates. Quality control: Hold a clear view on where AI production meets our standard and where it does not, and choose the right approach for each asset. Brand Systems & Marketing Moments Marketing moment design: Design the visual identity for each marketing moment, working closely with the Co-Founder on strategic direction. Iconography and visual systems: Develop iconography, colour systems and illustrative elements that carry across our physical and digital experience. Cross-channel consistency: Ensure each moment lands consistently across packaging, website, out of home, email, paid and retail. System documentation: Document and maintain design systems, templates and asset libraries, keeping files organised and version-controlled so the rest of the team can work from them. Production & External Partners External specialists: Brief and manage external partners where specialist output is required, including 3D renders, CGI, illustration. Print and packaging production: Prepare artwork to print and packaging production requirements, working with suppliers through to final files. Culture & Cross-Functional Collaboration Model Moodi's values: Six values guide how we show up for our team and our customers. We Execute with Excellence by delivering high performance with speed and precision. We Confront the Facts, seeking the truth through data and honest feedback. We believe you must Innovate or Die, so we constantly test new ideas and push what's possible. We Fuel the Fire by bringing energy and intensity to everything we do. We Earn Trust by taking full ownership and holding each other accountable. Lastly, we Focus to Win, prioritising what actually moves the needle. Cross-functional work: Work closely with Brand, Growth, Product, Operations and Retail to make sure design supports what each function is trying to achieve. Launch support: Partner across the business on product launches and key marketing moments to deliver integrated design across every channel. Continuous improvement: Foster a culture of testing and curiosity, constantly seeking new tools, methods and workflows to work smarter and more efficiently.
