Fluid Recruitment is proud to partner with a global engineering business in search of an experienced Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing Hawke's Bay team. The Company Our client is a well-established engineering organisation with a strong international presence, delivering advanced automated systems for the food processing and logistics sectors. The Role You will join the business as an Electrical Design Engineer, working within a collaborative multidisciplinary engineering team and supporting a diverse portfolio of projects. This role will see you taking ownership of electrical system design, developing detailed schematics and technical documentation, and contributing to the successful delivery of innovative automated equipment and machinery solutions. You will work closely with mechanical, automation and project engineering teams, supporting projects from concept and design through to manufacture, installation and commissioning. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing product development, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: 3+ years' experience in electrical design engineering within an industrial, manufacturing, automation or process environment Strong proficiency using AutoCAD Electrical for electrical schematics and documentation Experience designing motor control centres (MCCs), control panels and machine electrical systems Knowledge of industrial automation hardware, controls systems and machine safety principles Understanding of New Zealand and Australian electrical standards and regulations A relevant trade qualification, electrical licence and/or tertiary engineering qualification Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams Why Apply?
