Our Waikato branch is seeking an experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our supportive and growing team. We value hard work, collaboration, and a positive attitude. This role has been created due to increased workload over the festive season, higher-than-forecast volumes, and the onboarding of a key customer. Position Snapshot Location: Main street Place, Te Rapa, Hamilton Employment Type: Permanent full-time Start Date: Immediate Roster: Between Monday and Saturday (4:30 am – 1:30 pm) About the Role As a Delivery Driver at Service Foods, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring or customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. You’ll deliver a wide range of food products across the mighty Waikato region, while providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate vans and trucks to transport goods Load and unload products securely Deliver orders accurately and on time Maintain delivery logs and documentation Interact professionally with clients Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations Report vehicle maintenance issues Assist with warehouse duties when needed Perform daily vehicle checks and cleaningSupport dispatch and picking tasks as required About You We’re looking for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and ready to hit the ground running. You’ll need: A full Class 2 driver’s licence (manual driving required) Relevant driving experience Strong communication and customer service skills Good knowledge of Waikato and surrounding region Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure. Physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting Clean driving and criminal record Reliable transport for commuting Basic knowledge of food ingredients is a plus A positive attitude and team spirit Eligibility & Pre-employment Checks To be considered, you must be a NZ citizen, permanent resident, or have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
