After-School Tutor/Nanny Parnell

Monday-Friday | 3:00-6:00pm (slightly flexible) Our son is a little shy to begin with but once he opens up he is a well mannered, kind kid who is extremely loving. He loves science, maths, building and figuring out how things work, so we'd love someone who can make learning fun through experiments, projects and hands-on activities. The role includes: Homework and schoolwork support School Pickups Building confidence and tonnes of support Planning fun, educational activities Keeping afternoons engaging and varied We're looking for someone who is warm, patient and great with children, with an interest in science, STEM or creative learning. You'll need to be confident supporting primary-level reading and schoolwork. This would suit a teacher, trainee teacher, university student or tutor who enjoys working with children and wants to be a positive learning mentor. Reference checks will be required. Ideally, this is a longer-term position. He gets quite attached and heartbroken when people move on Key responsibilities Help with homework, reading, and simple learning activities. Support afternoon routines such as snacks, play, and getting ready for the next part of the day. Skill requirements Enjoy working with children and creating a warm, patient environment. Be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions well. Have good communication skills and a responsible approach to care.
