We're working with a well-established NZ business looking for an Accounts Receivable & Administration Assistant to join their close-knit finance team. This is a varied position where no two days are quite the same, and you'll play an important role in helping things run smoothly in the accounts team. You’ll be responsible for: Daily customer banking and payment processing Managing the accounts inbox and customer queries Preparing invoices, statements and credit notes Supporting the Credit Controller when needed Maintaining accurate records and filing General administration support across the team There’s also the opportunity to get involved with ongoing improvements to their ERP system (NetSuite), so it’s a great role for someone who enjoys systems and likes finding smarter ways of doing things. The right person will have: Previous accounts receivable / finance administration experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy A calm, professional communication style Someone happy to roll up their sleeves and help where needed Good systems confidence and a willingness to learn This role is suited to someone who learns quickly, and operates efficiently. You will be expected to be proactive around the receiavables, someone who takes a genuine ownership of them, and will happily pick up the phone and contact customers directly.
