Strategy & Insights Manager (14-Month Fixed Term) As our Strategy & Insights Manager , you'll turn Douglas' growth strategy into a disciplined pipeline of investment opportunities. You'll lead how we sense changes in the market, translate those signals into commercial insight and ensure investment decisions are backed by strong evidence. This is a 14-month fixed-term role working closely with our Chief Transformation Officer and senior leaders. You'll run our Investment Committee, lead our insights capability and help the business make confident decisions about what to pursue, what to prioritise and when to say no. What you'll do Run the Investment Committee, bringing structure, evidence and commercial discipline to investment decisions. Own the insights and business cases behind investment opportunities, including financial modelling, market sizing and scenario analysis. Direct market sensing across competitor moves, partner behaviour, market trends, therapeutic developments and regulatory shifts. Turn market intelligence into opportunities and recommendations for Commercial and other teams. Maintain the intake criteria, decision gates, KPIs and reporting that govern our growth pipeline. Lead and develop our Commercial Insights Analyst. What you'll bring Experience in a B2B, export or globally traded business. Strong experience building financial models and business cases. Experience running or supporting strategy, investment or governance forums. A track record of turning market and competitor data into clear commercial insights. Confidence moving across commercial, operational and technology topics. Strong executive presence - you can facilitate differing perspectives, challenge constructively and help senior stakeholders land decisions. Pharmaceutical or regulated-industry experience is a plus, as is M&A, partnership or investment evaluation experience.
