For more information please visithttps://www.serviceiq.org.nz/ Job Description National Account Manager - Aviation Location: Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid Note: This is a hybrid role, and as ServiceIQ has offices in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, we welcome applications from candidates based in any of these locations. About the role You’ll lead ServiceIQ’s aviation portfolio, driving strategic industry engagement, customer growth and learner success. You’ll identify emerging workforce needs, develop strong industry partnerships and work across ServiceIQ to deliver practical solutions for employers and learners. You’ll also support a team to achieve performance goals while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture. Key responsibilities Lead ServiceIQ’s aviation sector strategy and growth, identifying opportunities to increase participation, revenue and impact. Build and maintain strategic relationships with aviation employers, industry bodies, regulators and key stakeholders, representing ServiceIQ across relevant forums, conferences and networks. Influence and advocate for workforce development, ensuring ServiceIQ remains connected to emerging industry priorities, trends and workforce needs. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of workplace training and qualification opportunities, partnering with customers to deliver practical solutions that meet learner, employer and organisational needs. Use sector insights to inform planning, product development and innovation, strengthening ServiceIQ’s relevance and impact across the aviation industry. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability, collaboration and a strong focus on customer and learner outcomes. Qualifications About you Minimum 5 years aviation industry experience, (with preferably a background in aeronautical engineering) and networks. Having a good understanding of the sector, its workforce and emerging skills needs. Proven commercial and strategic capability, with a track record of growing accounts, identifying opportunities and delivering sustainable results. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence representing ServiceIQ and advocating for industry capability and workforce development. Minimum 5 years leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate and create a high-performing, collaborative team. A commitment to customer success, continuous improvement and quality outcomes, with an understanding of the vocational education and training environment.
