Job Description
Business Consultant - Restaurant Operations (Franchise Partnering) We're looking for a motivated and self-driven professional to join our Field Service team, partnering with a portfolio of Franchisees to drive sustainable business growth. In this role, you'll support Franchisees to increase sales, elevate Quality, Service and Cleanliness (QSC), improve profitability, and strengthen people capability, helping them unlock the full potential of their restaurants and organisations. This is a fast-paced, high-impact position where relationship building is critical. You'll work closely with Franchisees to understand their business goals, identify opportunities, and support the execution of plans that deliver long-term success. Through coaching, influencing, and strategic partnership, you'll help create high-performing restaurant teams that consistently deliver great customer experiences and strong business results. A key aspect of the role is leading the successful execution of the national PACE cycle across your nominated restaurants, including McOpCo locations. You'll also champion Brand Protection and Compliance through graded visits, operational observations, and ongoing support, ensuring our standards are upheld while helping Franchisees build a culture of continuous improvement. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple businesses, working alongside passionate Franchisees, restaurant teams, and cross-functional partners to shape the future success of McDonald's in New Zealand. The PERSON We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person with strong initiative, exceptional organisational ability, and strong communication and presentation skills. Experience in and a strong understanding of Restaurant operations, people management, technology, marketing and health and safety will see you thrive in this role. Excellent relationship building and management skills, coupled with the ability to have robust discussions to achieve desirable outcomes is essential. Proven ability to identify priority Franchisees and restaurants to improve and drive business performance is also desirable.
