Cyclic Lead - Mokau

As a Cyclic Lead for one of the largest infrastructure businesses in New Zealand, you will lead and manage a cyclic crew as well as supporting other operations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality roading network. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Mokau. You will also: Patrol designated roads on a regular basis Identify and repair faults, such as potholes, edge marker post replacement and blocked drainage structures Risk assess and setup safe sites for your crew and the general public Provide training and development for staff Ensure efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment Work as part of a cohesive team to deliver road maintenance activities If you are physically fit and enjoy spending your days outdoors and on your feet, this could be the position for you. Along with a positive attitude and a commitment to safe workplace practices, we are looking for you to have: Full Class 2 New Zealand Drivers Licence required Traffic Management Qualification or experience is beneficial Experience leading and supervising crews A can-do attitude with a good work ethic Demonstrated that you are reliable and dependable Be able to identify and repair faults Show good initiative and be confident in decision-making and problem-solving Ability to perform on-call duties as part of our emergency response requirements Ability to record completed activities on an electronic device (RAMM / AWM) #J-18808-Ljbffr
