We are looking for a dedicated Controls Electrician to join our growing team. Job Description: Join ACSL Group Ltd as an Controls Electrician and work on advanced electrical systems for mechanical services and building management systems across commercial projects. Competitive pay ($40–$55/hr), strong safety culture, and opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Electrical for Mechanical (E4M) and BMS systems. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure seamless integration. Conduct fault-finding and preventative maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures. Qualifications and Skills: NZ Registered Electrician with current EWRB practicing licence. Strong site H&S: SSSP/JSA, isolations/LOTO, permits; Site Safe (or willing to obtain). Proven experience on HVAC/E4M wiring: AHUs/FCUs, pumps/fans, VSDs, dampers/actuators, heaters, safeties/interlocks. Competent with controls/ELV: 0–10V, 4–20mA, dry contacts, sensors; segregation/shielding/earthing best practice. Can read and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, I/O/points lists; neat labelling and as-built mark‑ups. Strong fault-finding, point-to-point testing, pre-commissioning and functional proving. BMS exposure (preferred): understanding of HVAC sequences; basic BACnet/Modbus wiring/addressing helpful. Practical install skills: tray/ladder/basket/conduit; comfortable in ceilings/plant rooms and at heights (EWP/WAH a plus).
