Accounts Receivable Officer

Our team is passionate about delivering quality service, and we’re looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join us. What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient financial processes that support both our business and our clients. Your key responsibilities will include: Setting up new customer accounts Generating and processing invoices Performing bank reconciliations Managing weekly and monthly financial cycles and reporting Responding promptly to customer queries Following up on outstanding payments Preparing documentation for audits and year-end processes Acting as the go-to expert for our Job Management Software (Simpro) Providing backup support for Accounts Payable and Payroll Contributing to projects as needed What We’re Looking For We need someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in challenging the status quo. Ideally, you’ll bring: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with advanced Excel skills Experience with Simpro Job Management software (highly desirable) Familiarity with accounting software (Xero preferred) Strong costing and analytical abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong organizational and time management skills Initiative to improve processes Payroll experience (an advantage) Why Join Us?
