Job Description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey. We build consumer brands from the ground up and get them onto shelves with some of the world's biggest retailers. Beauty tech, personal care, sexual wellness, lifestyle - across every category we work in, the brief is the same: create a brand that wins. Design sits at the centre of everything we do. The Role – Junior Graphic Designer We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail-driven Junior Graphic Designer to join our Auckland-based creative team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a hands-on role with genuine creative involvement - you'll support the full lifecycle of new brands, from blank page to shelf, across categories as diverse as matcha tea, pet products, beauty tech, and sexual wellness. We work at speed. AI tools are part of how we ideate and compress the time between brief and launch. You don't need to be an expert - but you'll be working in a team that embraces these tools and will help you learn how to use them to do better creative work, faster. Responsibilities Design & Execution Support the creation of brand-aligned visuals across packaging, digital content, and product marketing for active brand launches Assist in producing product mockups, renders, and launch visuals for retail partners and campaigns globally Help take designs from initial concept through to print-ready files, under guidance from senior designers, ensuring artwork meets technical and quality requirements for global retail production Support the evolution of KENZZI's visual identity to stay trend-forward, category-relevant, and feminine Help maintain brand consistency across packaging, digital, and retail environments for each brand in the portfolio New Brand Development Be part of a team creating entirely new consumer brands - from early naming and identity concepting through to launch-ready assets Support the development of visual identities, packaging systems, and brand architectures across multiple categories Help translate category insights, consumer trends, and retailer requirements into compelling brand concepts Participate in NPD brainstorms and creative reviews, contributing ideas across naming, format, positioning, and visual direction Use AI-assisted tools to help accelerate ideation and explore concept directions during early-stage development Brand Standards & Quality Help ensure creative output meets brand, quality, and colour standards across formats Learn to prepare and manage print-ready files, working alongside senior designers and suppliers Support the delivery of packaging, retail displays, and promotional materials through the production workflow Help uphold visual standards, aesthetic direction, and brand integrity across all touchpoints What You Bring 1-2+ years of experience in a graphic design role; packaging experience is a plus but not essential A developing understanding of pre-press fundamentals - colour profiles, bleed, dielines - with a willingness to learn print production in depth A strong portfolio (including student or personal projects) showing an eye for layout, typography, colour, and composition Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Versatility and curiosity - comfortable exploring different aesthetics, from feminine beauty to bold wellness to playful pet branding Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks across tight timelines, with support from the team Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach Why KENZZI Be part of a team building brands from scratch - not just executing assets. Every new project comes with real creative involvement from day one Work across an unusually diverse range of categories; no two brands look the same See your work on shelf with some of the world's biggest retailers such as Walmart & CVS across multiple global markets Join a growing, design-led team where great work genuinely shapes what gets built, and get hands‑on mentorship as you grow Competitive salary commensurate with experience Permanent, full-time role based in our Auckland office #J-18808-Ljbffr
