This role offers the opportunity to work with one of the big civil contractors, transporting aggregates, spoil, machinery, and construction materials between project sites while supporting project delivery teams. The successful candidate's will be safety-focused, reliable, and confident operating truck and trailer units across busy construction environments. What's In It for You $32 - $40 per hour depending on experience Full-time hours with consistent workflow Modern fleet and well-maintained equipment Stable long-term workload Opportunity to work within a family-owned company Supportive team environment Potential for permanent employment for the right candidate What You Will Be Doing Operating truck and trailer units safely and efficiently Transporting aggregates, spoil, fill, and construction materials Completing daily pre-start inspections Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and compliance standards Completing delivery and transport documentation Working closely with site supervisors and dispatch teams Assisting on-site during quieter periods when required Promoting and maintaining strong health and safety practices What We Require Proven Class 5 Truck & Trailer driving experience Civil construction transport experience preferred Confidence reversing trailers on busy construction sites Good understanding of load restraint requirements Strong health and safety awareness Reliable work ethic and positive attitude Full Class 5 Driver Licence (essential) Must have more then 5 years truck and trail tipping experience and chain spreading WTR Endorsement preferred Dangerous Goods endorsement advantageous Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Valid NZ working rights ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO WORK IN NEW ZEALAND. #J-18808-Ljbffr
