Penny Homes is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of residential construction projects across Taupō and the surrounding region. Penny Homes is an established Registered Master Builder with a strong reputation for quality residential construction and customer service. The business has high expectations around quality, programme and client experience – but also encourages its people to think proactively, improve how things are done and take ownership of their work. We're looking for someone who can run a build, lead trades, solve problems and communicate well – with clients, subcontractors and the wider project team. As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of your projects from the point they move into construction through to completion. You'll be the person making sure the right trades are on site at the right time, the programme keeps moving, workmanship meets expectations and issues are dealt with promptly. You'll work closely with the Construction Manager, QS and Project Support team, while building strong relationships with Penny Homes' subcontractors, suppliers and clients. Your role will include: Managing residential construction projects from start to completion Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site resources Driving programmes and keeping builds on schedule Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality Identifying construction and resourcing issues and getting them resolved Managing site performance, safety and presentation Keeping clients informed and confident throughout their build Managing variations and ensuring changes are properly communicated and actioned Completing quality checks throughout construction and prior to handover Maintaining accurate project information through Buildertrend and project systems You'll ideally bring: Proven project management experience The ability to coordinate multiple builds, trades and priorities Strong programming and organisational capability A good eye for quality and workmanship, ideally a qualified builder Sound commercial judgement Strong Health & Safety awareness Confidence dealing with clients, subcontractors and suppliers A practical, solutions-focused approach Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction management software Please note you must have NZ Residency in place to be considered for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
