Warehouse Operator & Service Technician

About the role A Warehouse & Service Technician Assistant role with genuine variety. No two days will be the same, one day you might be on the tools servicing trolleys, the next you're out on the road on a delivery to a customer, and the next you're in the warehouse keeping stock moving. This is an excellent chance to learn the business from the ground up and find where you want to grow. Key responsibilities Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders Devanning containers and processing inwards goods Stock management, shelf replenishment, and stocktakes General warehouse duties Servicing and repairing trolleys, wheels, pallet jacks, and related equipment Assembling equipment Travelling to customer sites for on-site servicing and repairs Collecting parts from suppliers Learning to weld and operate a lathe (full training provided) About you A strong work ethic and willingness to learn, a can do attitude Comfortable with physical, hands-on practical tasks Physical capability to lift and carry items regularly A willingness to follow procedures and instructions carefully Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to warehouse demands and busy periods Reliable, punctual, and a good team player Full, clean driver's licence (this role involves travel to customer sites as far as Auckland) Forklift licence an advantage (or willingness to obtain one — training supported) About us Wheelco has been keeping NZ rolling for over 30 years with the largest range of wheels, castors and materials handling equipment in NZ.
