About the role: Own and shape a newly created role focused on procurement, inventory, data, systems and people. Clean, maintain and improve data quality across ERP and inventory systems. Review and improve procurement and inventory processes, introducing best-practice, scalable workflows. Analyse inventory and supply data to optimise stock levels, identify risks and opportunities, and support forecasting and decision-making. Collaborate with sales, operations and finance to improve planning, efficiency and consistency. Lead continuous improvement by identifying practical ways to improve how the business operates. Help develop inventory strategy and scalable systems as the business grows. Travel to Wellington or Christchurch occasionally as required. About you: Passion for data, systems and process improvement, with strong relationship-building skills. Experience improving inventory, procurement or supply chain systems and processes, ideally in a New Zealand manufacturing/product environment with high SKU volumes. Strong analytical and data-management skills, with excellent attention to detail. ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics is preferred. Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership, working independently and driving change. Resilient and persistent when tackling messy data, legacy processes or resistance to change. Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders, challenge constructively and build strong relationships.
