Employment Type: Full-time (guaranteed 40 hours / per week, Monday to Sunday, rotating roster), Permanent Our pay: $23.95 per hour We are a reputable restaurant based in Auckland. We are now looking for 1 waiting staff to enhance our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for customer service, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and be a proactive member of the team. You are required to: Setting up and preparing tables before each opening for customers Greeting customers and handing out food menus and beverage lists Answering questions about menu specialties and matching drinks Taking orders and passing to kitchen staff to prepare Serving food and beverages to customers at the highest service standard Cleaning tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen when customers finish dining Calculating payments for the order and collecting money using the cash registration machines Reporting to management on any issues require attention, such as customer complaints, restocking needs and potential hazards at work To be successful you will need: Have a minimum of 6 months’ relevant experience in the hospitality industry Good eye for detail and an ability to learn fast Have no criminal conviction record Able to pass a pre-employment drug test #J-18808-Ljbffr
