In this role, you’ll prepare and present high-quality meals that elevate the guest experience. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and wider team to deliver exceptional food service in a premium lounge setting, ensuring every dish meets our high standards and exceeds customer expectations. This is a Casual Position where hours of work are on " as and when" required basis upon business needs. Successful candidates MUST be available to work during weekends. Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes including meat, seafood, vegetables, and baked goods. Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness across all kitchen areas. Receive, store, and rotate supplies while assisting with stock control and ordering. Develop menus that cater to special dietary and cultural requirements. Coach and support team members while working collaboratively with colleagues and customers. Proven experience cooking in a similar hospitality or catering environment. NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or equivalent (preferred). Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude. Physically fit, reliable, and committed to food safety and hygiene standards. Able to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and a team-focused mindset.
