Technical Product Manager | Exciting new project | $165k + bonus Enterprise Technology Recruitment – Auckland, North Island Shape the evolution of a complex technology platform. The company is an established organisation with a sophisticated technology platform supporting a complex, business-critical operation. They are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong technical background to help design and deliver the next generation of the platform. This is a role for someone who enjoys complexity and likes getting into the detail. You'll work at the intersection of product, technology and business, translating complex requirements into practical solutions within an established and highly interconnected system. The opportunity You’ll take ownership of product initiatives from discovery through to delivery, working closely with technology teams and business stakeholders to understand problems, define solutions and manage delivery. You’ll be expected to: Understand complex business and technical requirements Define and prioritise product outcomes Translate business needs into clear product requirements Understand the impact of changes across a complex platform Work closely with software engineers and technical teams Identify dependencies, risks and unintended consequences Balance business needs, customer outcomes and technical constraints Help shape the future evolution of the platform What we're looking for You'll ideally have moved into Product Management from a Business Analyst or Software Engineering background , with experience working on complex technology products or platforms. You’ll bring: Proven Product Management experience Strong technical understanding and systems thinking Experience working with complex software products Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills The ability to work comfortably with technical and non-technical stakeholders You don't need to be a developer today, but you do need to be technically credible and comfortable getting into the detail.
