We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant at Tōtara Hospice. This role is based at our Ben Lomond Retail Store and falls under the Retail department. It is a Permanent - Part Time position, offering an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for making a difference. As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the retail store. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: Assisting customers with their enquiries and purchases in a friendly and professional manner Maintaining a clean and tidy store environment, including regular stock replenishment and merchandising Operating the cash register and processing transactions accurately Supporting with inventory management, including stock take and ordering of products Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store Adhering to company policies and procedures, particularly those related to health and safety The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in supporting the mission of Tōtara Hospice. Previous retail experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
