As a Coach, you'll work alongside people with disabilities to pursue goals, develop skills, work through barriers, and strengthen their connections within the community. This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, thinking creatively, and working collaboratively to help people achieve meaningful outcomes. Key responsibilities One-to-one coaching Goal planning and achievement Building skills, confidence, and independence Strengthening community connections and natural supports Working alongside whānau and community partners Identifying opportunities and overcoming barriers Contributing to quality service delivery About you Builds genuine relationships and can establish trust with clients, whānau, colleagues, and community partners Can navigate challenges, think creatively, and stay focused on positive outcomes when things don't go to plan Believes in people's potential and enjoys working alongside people with diverse experiences, strengths, communication styles, and support needs Communicates clearly, works collaboratively, and maintains professional boundaries while building strong relationships Experience working in disability, health, education, community, or social services An understanding of person-directed and strengths-based practice Strong relationship-building and communication skills Excellent organisation and time management skills Confidence working independently and as part of a team A full New Zealand driver's licence About us At Momenta, we walk alongside disabled people tangata whaikaha to go after a life they choose.
