We are looking for skilled leaders with a passion for customer service to join our on-site team full-time. As Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll lead from the front, build and motivate a high-performing team, and keep the venue running at a high standard from day one. Qualifications & experience Previous management experience required (minimum 1 year) Current Duty Managers Certificate (preferred, not essential) Customer Service experience required (minimum 1 year) Current First Aid Certification Proven capability to work quickly and accurately, roll with punches and adapt to new products, pricing, policies, and procedures Strong ability to engage with our customers, upsell our products and ensure everyone is having a great time Must be able to work weekends (required) Tasks & responsibilities Responsible for smooth operations throughout the day - overseeing operations of the go-karts, playground, bowling, mini golf, arcade and bar. Delegating tasks to staff when it is quiet and supervising their performance Help staff resolve on-the-job challenges Manage any complaints on the day and ensure customer walks out satisfied Welcoming and serving customers. Engaging with customers to make sure they are satisfied Motivate the team to deliver a high-quality service Responsible for the presentation of the venue Ensuring the safe and responsible sale and supply of alcohol and minimising alcohol-related harm.
