Based in Hamilton, we play a pivotal role in the manufacture and distribution of premium animal health products trusted by New Zealand farmers and pet owners alike. The role We are seeking a confident, commercially astute and detail-oriented Product/Brand Manager to join our experienced commercial team. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a well-established and successful product portfolio, leading the full spectrum of brand and product marketing activity. You will work closely with a high-performing team in New Zealand, while also collaborating with colleagues across other subsidiaries and our global headquarters. A typical day Cross-functional collaboration: Partnering with local teams including Quality, Supply Chain and Finance, as well as international colleagues across the Virbac network. Business development support: Working alongside the sales team to develop compelling marketing tools and presentations for veterinarian customers, delivered both in person and via video conference. Strategic planning: Developing integrated marketing plans spanning traditional, digital and inbound channels, targeting both B2B and B2C audiences. Execution: Bringing plans to life through the development of promotional materials, campaigns, presentations and digital content, in collaboration with our graphic designer and agency partners. Performance reporting: Analysing and reporting on sales performance, campaign effectiveness and marketing investment. Forecasting & demand planning: Partnering with Finance and Supply Chain to drive accurate monthly and annual forecasts, ensuring alignment between commercial strategy and inventory planning. New product & market development: Conducting market analysis, gathering competitive intelligence and identifying opportunities to grow market share. About you You bring proven experience in product or brand management, along with strong commercial acumen and a collaborative mindset. You are confident presenting to both internal and external audiences and can translate strategy into clear, compelling messaging. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities effectively and take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes. You understand that successful product management requires both strategic thinking and operational discipline - and you are comfortable working across both. A willingness and ability to undertake regular domestic travel and occasional international travel is required. Experience in agriculture or animal health is advantageous but not essential.
