Visit our website www.spencersnz.co.nz We have an opportunity for an Operations Team Leader to lead our Responsive and Planned Programmes Team in Hutt Valley. The role reports to Regional Manager. As the team navigates a period of transition, we are looking for a compassionate, capable, and resilient leader who can build on strong foundations, support their people, and continue to drive excellence in service delivery. This is a Leadership role, so in addition to our company’s focus on Health and Safety, Quality of work and Delivery to KPIs are also the key considerations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural understanding, effective communication skills, a strong customer ethic and a proven ability to build resilient relationships with multiple stakeholders. Previous experience in the RSC field with a demonstrated working knowledge of building trades/codes and Kāinga Ora standards would be advantageous. If you were appointed to this role, you would spend some time each day in the office and most of it out in the community and in properties. You would liaise with your direct reports and teams of tradespeople to ensure that requirements are understood, and that work is completed within the expected timeframes and to the right standard. The Responsive & Planned Programme Team Leader will: promote a positive Health and Safety culture have a comprehensive knowledge of Kāinga Ora’s codes and standards of work, and a working knowledge of the Kāinga Ora Contract have the ability to work effectively under pressure, managing relationships with multiple stakeholders, while also managing a high workload assign responsibilities and tasks to meet workload expectations, ensuring Key Performance Indicators are met be able to demonstrate a high level of cultural understanding have proven skills in getting the subcontractor workforce delivering to expectations hire, train and lead a team of Scope/Supervisors be experienced with Microsoft Office computer applications be a company values champion Preference will be given to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents. #J-18808-Ljbffr
