General Labourer

We are seeking a General Labourer to join NZ Labour Hire in Auckland Central. This is a labouring position offering on going work and the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a variety of labour-intensive tasks and projects. As a General Labourer, you will be an essential part of our team, contributing to the successful completion of projects across the trades and services sector. This role is based on-site in Auckland Central , and you will work on an ad-hoc casual basis, providing flexibility around your schedule. What you'll be doing Assisting with general construction, maintenance, and site preparation tasks Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment safely Performing manual labour duties including digging, clearing, and site cleaning Supporting skilled trades personnel on various projects Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Using hand tools and basic equipment as required for assigned tasks Following instructions from site supervisors and foremen Assisting with general grounds maintenance and landscaping work when required What we're looking for Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks for extended periods Willingness to learn and take on a variety of labour-focused tasks Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to follow health and safety procedures and work instructions carefully Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork Previous experience as a general labourer or in a similar manual labour role is advantageous Flexibility to work on a casual basis and adapt to varying project schedules Current driving licence is preferred but not essential Must have site safe What we offer NZ Labour Hire provides our team members with competitive casual rates, working with a great team of people and exposure to a wide variety of projects within the trades and services industry.
