Join a progressive piggery in Lepperton site of 400 sows where you’ll play a key role in maintaining high animal welfare standards while working alongside an experienced Farm Manager. We are seeking 2 full-time piggery staff to join our team. What you’ll be doing: Assisting with the day-to-day management of the piggery Caring for pigs across mating, farrowing, weaner, grower and finisher areas Monitoring animal health, welfare and performance Feeding stock, including meal preparation and feed mixing Operating farm machinery and feeding equipment Assisting with stock movements, treatments and production records Maintaining high hygiene, maintenance and biosecurity standards Supporting the Farm Manager and contributing to a positive team environment. What’s on offer: $23.95–$29.66 per hour , depending on experience Higher pay available as you complete AGITO training 30–46 hours per week All PPE provided Ongoing training and development opportunities What we’re looking for: Minimum 4 years’ pig farming experience Strong stockmanship and a genuine commitment to animal welfare Experience operating farm machinery and equipment Reliable, motivated and a team player with a great work ethic Roster: Monday to Friday, plus rostered weekend and public holiday work. As with all livestock farming, caring for the animals is a seven-day-a-week commitment.
