Complying with systems/manuals such as Food & Packaging Manual, Food Safety Plan, Kitchen Log Book and Prep List Adhering to and enforcing BurgerFuel policies and guidelines Responsible for food quality, customer service and cleanliness of the shift Opening and/or closing the store (Cash Up and Lock Up procedures) Assigning tasks to employees on shift and following up on completion Motivating employees to attain the highest standards Training employees on correct BurgerFuel procedures Ordering supplies and product (and addressing any issues regarding these) Taking and resolving customer complaints/feedback Communicating memos and other important information from Head Office Assisting with staff rosters and payroll as and when needed To be aware of any quality issues, especially relating to product safety and shelf life Ensure store and staff hygiene is maintained to the highest standard Attend and actively participate in weekly Shift Manager's Meetings Must be on time and remain on site for entire shift The above list is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake other tasks as directed to ensure these key responsibilities are delivered. All roles are required to assist with food preparation, store set-up/knockdown and detail cleaning duties. Experience/qualifications required Minimum 2 years experience in a management role in retail or hospitality. To be successful in this role, you will need Strong leadership and communication skills Time management and organisation skills Negotiation and delegation skills Able to withstand long periods of standing and lifting objects Employment is permanent and for a minimum of 30hrs a week Shifts are between 9am to 11pm Monday to Sunday including public holidays Pay rate offered is $26 to $28 per hour depending on experience Applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
