The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Plastic Surgery provides specialist nursing advice, care and expertise, both in delivering direct patient care and in supporting other staff caring for patients with complex wounds. This CNS role provides comprehensive wound care assessment and management for the maxillofacial, burns and plastic surgery inpatient (Unit) and outpatient population. About the Team/Service Location Hutt Hospital is 260 bed general district hospital, serving a population of 134,000. The plastic surgery unit has a 27 bed Unit and the service provides tertiary services to Nelson/Marlborough, Wellington, Wairarapa, Palmerston North, Hawke's Bay, and Whanganui districts (and also Taranaki for some head and neck cancer patients) equating to a population of 1.2 million.
