As a Senior Test Analyst , you'll take a leading, hands‑on role in the quality of software across the full application lifecycle. You'll plan and execute testing strategies for user stories, build and maintain automated regression tests, and take responsibility for software running in Production and Pre-Production against agreed SLAs. You'll work across the technology stack, from SQL database changes and authenticated APIs through to front-end automation, while providing expertise around QA practices, tooling and continuous improvement. This is not a predominantly manual testing role. We're looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable working with automation and can contribute technically from day one. You’ll be comfortable investigating complex issues, planning your own work and taking ownership of quality rather than simply executing test scripts. We’re particularly interested in someone who has experience working with Playwright and/or Cypress in a commercial environment , understands how automated testing fits into CI/CD pipelines, and is confident testing across UI, API and database layers. You’ll also be expected to share your knowledge with less experienced testers, provide constructive feedback and help shape testing practices across the wider development team. This is a permanent, full-time position , not a contract opportunity. The company is looking for someone who wants to become part of the team and contribute over the longer term. The role is based in Wellington , with a hybrid arrangement of three days in the office and two days working from home.
