The Company Sanitarium is a progressive and dynamic New Zealand‑owned business that produces the country’s leading breakfast and fresh food products – including Up & Go, So Good, the Alternative Dairy Co range, Lisa’s Dips, and New Zealand’s favourite breakfast, Weet‑Bix About the Role In this role,you’llwork across exciting product development projectswithin our Lisa’s Dips team,taking ideas from concept through to production.You’llbe part of a collaborative team, working closely with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to deliver high‑quality, innovative products. You’llhave the opportunity to get hands‑on in trials,benchwork, and real product development, while also building your technicalexpertiseand contributing to longer‑term innovation strategies. Key Responsibilities Deliver product development projects on time and within budget Design, run and report on experiments and factory trials Develop andmaintainproduct specifications and technical documentation Ensure products meet food safety, regulatory and quality standards Identifyopportunities for innovation, costoptimisationand quality improvement Provide technical support across operations and stakeholders Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams Stay up to date withnew technologiesand industry About You You’resomeone who enjoys problem‑solving, working hands‑on, and being part of a team that brings ideas to life. You love food and have sound culinary cooking skills. Lisa’s is about flavour and having a passion for creating tasty food isa must. You’llbring: A degree in Food Technology or a related science field 2+ years’ experience in a relevant industry, ideally in a high care environment Knowledge of food safety,microbiology,HACCP, and regulatory standards Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Good communicationskills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Nice to have: Experience in sensory, QA/QC, or product development Understanding of how formulation decisions impact business outcome All applicants must be able todemonstratethat they have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
