As the Farm Source - Assistant Store Manager at our Edgecumbe Farm Source store, you'll be involved in developing store and staff performance - leading from the front and enabling us to achieve our sales and performance targets. As an integral part of the Store you'll use your influencing skills to work closely with the team, driving sales, providing fantastic customer service, and ensuring a high level of Health and Safety is front of mind. You will work alongside the Store Manager to take the stores performance from strength to strength and be able to exercise strong decision making, prioritisation and management skills to support this growth. Leading and supporting in the creation of a cohesive and collaborative team will be core to – so ideally you know what it takes to motivate, encourage and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results. We are looking for someone with sales experience with a second to none customer focus and a positive 'can-do' attitude. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling priorities all while delivering an outstanding customer experience, will ensure your success. Ideally, you'll also have an affinity to the dairy/farming/agriculture industry, enabling you to provide accurate advice to our farmers. Other key skills and experience include: People leadership or management experience either in a formal or informal capacity is beneficial Experience working in a customer service environment, delivering a high experience Understanding of the dairy or agricultural industry is highly beneficial Ability to develop and motivate your team Physically fit and able to lift product manually on a regular basis Ability to work on Saturday morning (9am-12pm) on a rotating roster At Fonterra, our values of Good Together, Better Every Day, and Every Drop Counts, are for everyone – no matter your background, identify or experience.
