The Role We seek an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join a supportive and high-performing, close-knit People & Culture team on a 6-month fixed-term or contracting basis. This is a true generalist role with a strong focus on business partnering, employment relations and remuneration. Working closely with leaders across the organisation, you will provide expert advice, coaching and guidance on a wide range of people matters, support remuneration activities, and deliver practical HR solutions that enable positive business outcomes. The role requires someone who can operate confidently across both operational and advisory activities and quickly build trusted relationships across the organisation. Role Requirements Proven experience in a Business Partner or similar generalist HR role Proven employment relations experience, with the ability to provide pragmatic advice and support to leaders across a range of people matters Remuneration knowledge, including salary reviews, benchmarking and remuneration frameworks Solid understanding of current HR practice and demonstrated knowledge of NZ employment legislation Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills A proactive and pragmatic approach with strong problem-solving capability The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and an appreciation for te reo Māori and tikanga in the workplace A genuine commitment to working within a values-driven environment.
